IEEE-RAS TC on RoboCup Call for Student Representatives


The IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (IEEE-RAS) would like to invite a Student Representative volunteer to join us and support the activities of the Technical Committee on RoboCup ( https://www.ieee-ras.org/robocup ). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to advancing the field, identify opportunities to improve student experiences, and further the collaboration between RoboCup and the IEEE-RAS.
 

Role Description:

As a Student Representative, you will work closely with the Chair and Co-Chairs of the Technical Committee on RoboCup, assisting in the organization and coordination of technical activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the planning and execution of committee events and initiatives (e.g., meetings, workshops etc.).
Co-Managing social media of the TC, in collaboration with RoboCup.
Promoting the committee's work and recruiting new student members.
Representing the student perspective within the committee.
 

Requirements:

Current enrollment in a Ph.D. or M.S. program relevant to the scientific challenges in RoboCup.
Participation in RoboCup as a student or committee member.
Current student member of IEEE-RAS.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to commit to the role and volunteer for 2-3 years.
